Hi Kim,
I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you on behalf of Mark and myself for all your assistance with our wedding. I know it seemed like a really long process getting to the final day and I did find it quite stressful at times particularly because I am so detail orientated but I can honestly say that the minute I arrived at Noosa for our wedding weekend I felt totally relaxed and confident that everything was perfect and would go to exactly to plan. It was the best feeling to sit back and relax knowing that I could just hand the rest over to you and not have to worry about a thing form then on. I even surprised myself at how calm and composed I was that weekend (except for my teary walk down the aisle - but that was to be expected). Without you my mother and I would have been rushing around all weekend like headless chickens making sure everything was going to plan.
Mark and I had an amazing weekend, the wedding was just so beautiful and heartfelt - everything we had dreamt of. The day flowed extremely smoothly and having nothing to distract us or to organise, we were able to fully appreciate it. We felt very present and able to take the whole day in and this was because we knew we were in capable hands with your team.
Walking through the trees to meet Mark at Hidden Grove was overwhelming but even through the haze of emotion I was still blown away by the decorations as I walked in. It was even more beautiful and enchanted than I had expected. (And I had pretty high expectations!). With everything put together it was magnificent and totally over the top. And the same with Sails - it came up better than I had expected, breathtaking!
We really appreciate you offering your personal assistance to us as relatives of Sammy and Kurt. Sammy was particularly happy to see you again on the day.
Thank you for being a superwomen at 40 weeks pregnant and powering on business as usual. Although I think you are crazy for that :) Thanks for not going into labour on the 18th just for us as well.
And finally thank you for your recommendations for service providers - everyone was great on the day. We were particularly impressed with Emma for recreating the picture of the cake I had. The cake was amazing! Her pricing was so reasonable, her cake very tasty and dealing with her was a pleasure. She is extremely professional. David at Aspley Video Productions was also amazing. Again very reasonably priced and such a pleasure to have with us on the day of our wedding. Many of our guest commented on him, he was comic relief and was such fun to be around. Can't wait for the video, it was one of the best decisions we made to get the wedding filmed. I was concerned about the flowers from day 1 and it was stressful not knowing what we were going to have until quite close to the date but on the day Liz's amazing creativity shown through, her flowers were stunning and the decor that she set up was breathtaking!
So thank you very much to you and your team at Events of Noosa for making our wedding truly spectacular. So many of our guests have said that it was the best wedding they had ever been to and I would definitely have to agree!
