fiona damien | Weddings of Noosa

Fiona & Damien chose August to get married and this is usually a dry time of year. However the week that they chose to marry, Noosa had the most rain it has had for over 100 years! The main thing is that they had friends & family travelling to Noosa from all over the world - and the focus was just on being together and having a great time regardless of the weather. And that they did!!! The theme was cream with black elegance, an intimate ceremony was held indoors overlooking the Noosa River then the sun came out for guests to walk to Ricky's Restaurant for an elegant reception dinner. After sampling delightful canapes & cocktails guests were seated then a surprise performance by Tenor Roger Davy from Vavachi, who performed the couples most favourite songs finishing with "That's Amore" which had the entire room singing along. With AMORE & LOVE in large letters behind the bridal table, Tiffany Noir patterned stationery and fresh white roses with soft elegant candles in a similar pattern, the guests danced the night away to the one and only Leah Rush as guests spilled out on the deck to enjoy the full moon rising over the swollen Noosa River with Bollinger while enjoying rich mini mud cakes and cream.
